So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
This chapter discussed changes to ConfigMgr applications since their introduction in Configuration Manager 2012 RTM. It discussed how to handle enabled write filters effective on embedded versions of Windows, working with virtual applications, and using the newly introduced Virtual Environments feature. It described deploying applications using deep linking and sideloading to mobile devices; for some selected platforms, you can also use VPN profiles to set up a VPN connection while executing the application on the end user’s device. The chapter also covered deploying applications to OS X, Linux, and UNIX systems, along with deploying web applications.
