Having established a foundational structure from which to build, we now turn our attention to the fundamentals of operating in the business of people. A kind of doctrine of HR.
In this part I have attempted to pull together all the absolutely essential themes that make up what is often referred to as the ‘soft’ side of the HR professional. Often these are the themes and concepts that make us human, and therefore a deeper knowledge and understanding of these is important for the people-expert.
These are all themes that exist intrinsically within HR functions and the people therein, but I find are rarely explicitly talked about.
