Chapter 14. No News Is Good News

Hope found herself going down the negative road fast. She thought of the No Complaining Tools and inserted the word but, trying to think of something positive. But I met Joyce. She didn't treat me like a number. She was great. And as they say, no news is good news. Hope thought of the No Complaining Rule. Yesterday when she left the hospital, she went straight home. When she arrived, her daughter started one of her usual rants, but Hope stopped her and invoked the No Complaining Rule. They talked about it as a family, and Hope, Lauren, and Jack all decided to try a One-Day Complaining Fast and see how it went. Hope wasn't sure how it would go for all of them today, but she did know one thing. It worked last night with her daughter. Now if it could work with EZ Tech employees, we're in business, she thought. She had a lot of great ideas brewing but wasn't quite sure how they all fit together. She would create a plan today. Today it would all come together. At least that's what she hoped.
