It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
GETTING STARTED WITH THE NXT SET 11

NXT software
To begin installing the NXT software, place the CD-ROM
included with your NXT set in your computer’s CD-ROM
drive. If you’re running Windows XP, insert the CD-ROM and
then wait for a menu like the one in Figure 2-3 to appear
on the screen. Click the proper language (mine only offers
English) and then follow the onscreen instructions.
NOTE Do not plug the USB cable that comes with the
NXT set into your computer yet. You must plug it in after
you have installed the software. You will learn more
about this later in the chapter.
