So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Building an Android Media Player UI
For Android Auto, building an Android media player UI is not necessary; only MusicService is required. However, it is very convenient to troubleshoot MusicService using the Android media player installed on your phone. You can find the Android media player UI code on GitHub at https://bit.ly/2LALL4N. You can copy files from ch9/MyPodCast/UI and ch9/MyPodCast/Helpers to the respective folders in your current working project.
