8.1 Boosting Productivity with CoolCommands
It’s amazing how irritated you can get when you have to repeatedly do small tasks while working in your development environment. Trivial things like having to open up Visual Studio’s Options dialog and navigate down to the Font menu to increase your text editor’s font size for reviews become rather annoying after you’ve had to do them a number of times. Other items on my List of Annoying Things include having to bounce around in the Solution Explorer to get to a particular file’s containing folder, or having to re-enter references in multiple projects.
Thankfully, Gaston Milano’s CoolCommands add-in for Visual Studio helps remove these annoyances. Milano’s add-in takes care of a number of handy tasks, all via additions to the available context menus.
