11.1 Setting Up Subversion Rapidly with SVN 1-Click Setup
Setting up and configuring a Subversion server for the first time can be intimidating and time-consuming. SVN 1-Click Setup simplifies that process by walking you through the necessary steps to install and configure the server. While it takes more clicks than the name implies, SVN 1-Click Setup is the fastest way to get up and running with the Subversion version-control system.

Getting Started
Download the tool’s executable from its home page. SVN 1-Click Setup runs on Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server, and Windows XP.
Using SVN 1-Click Setup
SVN 1-Click Setup uses a wizard that helps you accomplish three tasks: installing Subversion, configuring the server, and installing TortoiseSVN (see 11.2 Accessing Subversion and CVS with TortoiseCVS and TortoiseSVN). SVN 1-Click Setup will determine whether Subversion and TortoiseSVN are already installed and, if so, will automatically skip those steps.
