26.1. New Concepts for the Domain Model

As in iteration 1, the UP Domain Model may be incrementally developed by considering the concepts in the requirements for this iteration. Techniques such as the Concept Category List and noun phrase identification will help. An effective approach to developing a robust and rich domain model is to study the work of other authors on this subject, such as {Fowler96]. The myriad subtle modeling issues they explore are beyond the scope of this book.
