So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
37.2. The Construction and Transition Phases
Construction
Elaboration ends when the high risk issues have been resolved, the architectural core or skeleton is complete, and “most” requirements are understood. At the end of elaboration, it is possible to more realistically estimate the remaining effort and duration for the project.
It is followed by the construction phase, whose purpose is essentially to finish building the application, alpha testing, prepare for beta testing (in the transition phase), and prepare for deployment, through activities such as writing the user guides and online help.
