If you wish to connect to phones using Cisco’s proprietary Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP), you can use the skinny.conf file to define the parameters and channels that will use it. However, since the SCCP protocol is proprietary, you may find that support in Asterisk for this protocol is less than perfect but steadily improving over time.
