the USA and Europe dropped by 16% and 3%, respectively. However, the vehicle sales
number in the BRIC-countries increased by 10%. Notice that with a population of 1.3
billion in 2008, China has merely 8.9 million new cars sold while in the US, having a
population of 305 million, 13.6 millions of new cars were sold.
