Text Data as Hive Tables

In this section we will visualize the output from bulk data upload and MapReduce examples explained in previous sections in Hive tables. In order to achieve this, let us follow given steps:

1. Open Hue and navigate to Query Editor | HIVE.
2. In the Query box, lets run a DDL command to create a Hive table over the contacts file uploaded earlier:
