Disadvantages of Kafka

Although Kafka’s advantages overshadows its disadvantages, it's good to know it's limitations and consider it only when advantages are too compelling to omit. The following are the disadvantages mostly associated with Kafka and some might be more relevant for a particular use case but not really linked with ours.

• Doesn’t possess a full set of management and monitoring tools. This makes enterprise support staff a bit apprehensive about choosing Kafka and supporting it in the long run.
