This section provides an overview on DB2 authorities and privileges.
Authorities
Authorities provide a way both to group privileges, and to control maintenance
and utility operations for instances, databases, and database objects. Users can
have administrative authorities that give full privileges on a set of database
objects, or they can have system authorities that give full privileges on managing
the system but do not allow access to the data.
SYSADM is the highest level of administrative authority. It includes all the
