To stop the admin daemon from the Windows Services panel select IBM
Tivoli Directory Admin Daemon V5.2, right-click, and select Stop.
To stop the admin daemon from the command prompt type:
ibmdirictl -D <adminDN> -w <adminPW> admstop
Tivoli Directory Server - Configuration Tool (ldapxcfg)
The ldapxcfg GUI Configuration Tool and its command line equivalent ldapcfg
are used to configure the directory server. The tool is simple to use and has an
intuitive interface. The Configuration Tool can perform the following tasks:
Define the administrator distinguished name and password.
Configure, reconfigure, and unconfigure the database.
Add and remove suffixes.
