You can reconfigure WebSphere Portal Content Publishing to change which
database is used for the Document Manager document repository.
DB2 Content Manager should be installed prior to installing WebSphere Portal.
When installing DB2 Content Manager, you must also install DB2 Information
Integrator for Content. Refer to Chapter 4, “Runtime environment installation” on
page 119 for a working example.
The following points should be considered before installation:
When installing DB2 Information Integrator for Content, you should select EIP
Development Workstation as the machine type.
The DB2 Content Manager databases can be on the same machine as the
