2.3.13 Integrate a Content Manager data model with a Portal
By integrating a WebSphere Portal application with DB2 Content Manager, you
can leverage the power of DB2 Content Manager.
First, you need to design and create your data model in DB2 Content Manager,
such as attributes, and item types, in the DB2 Content Manager. This can be
done in two ways. One is to use the System Administration Client of DB2 Content
Manager. The other is to use the Java API in a program. We will walk through
both of these two methods in Chapter 9, “Data model and workflow development”
on page 325.
