CVS overview
Concurrent Version System (CVS) is a simple open-source software
configuration management (SCM) system. CVS offers version control for parallel
development, but does not offer many of the advanced features included with a
product, such as Rational ClearCase.
We selected CVS for the ITSO example for several reasons. First, we wanted to
