Version policy

You can create a version policy for each item type you created, to help you keep

track of the changes. In the New Item Type window, there is a New version policy

section (see Figure 2-14 on page 59).

DB2 Content Manager provides three version policies:

 Always create

Creates a new version of the item whenever it is updated. Client users are

unaware that additional versions are being created until the next time that

they retrieve the item.

 Never create

Updates a single stored item every time.
