When the scheme in Fig. 11.2 is correct, then it should be possible
to detect different concentrations of redox-active substances in
solution by choosing a proper potential and illumination of the
electrode surface. This has been shown with the simple ferri-
/ferrocyanide system. In these cases an enhanced photocurrent
