When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Today's Corporate Network
There should be no doubt that corporate networks are here to stay. New employees are now assigned a phone number and an email address when they start a new job. Their desks are usually equipped with both a PC and a phone. If you are not convinced, consider this; how many people do you know who don't have an email address? Very few, right? At that rate, the telephone will soon be integrated into the PC, because you don't really need two separate pieces of equipment.
Many employees are also getting cellular phones and hand-held personal digital assistants (PDAs) for improved communication. The PDAs are currently used for processing email, and now cell phones are coming out with Internet access to allow access to email. ...
