I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What About Private Citizens?
High-tech scams continue to be used to help separate the average citizen from his or her money. High-tech scam artists have found many ways to deprive regular people of their money, ranging from the infamous 419 scams to “free pornography” that really isn't free. Consider the following gem from Rich Petillo. Rich was responsible for fraud investigations for AT&T at the time. A program was available on the Internet that offered free adult pictures. There was just one catch—you needed to download and run the site's special viewer. Not surprisingly, many people downloaded the viewer and started viewing their “free” pictures. Few things sell like free porn.
