When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Parting Thoughts
When people first think of getting Internet access, they are thinking about downloading new video games, not downloading a computer virus. When they use email, they think about communicating with new people, not being deceived into giving away their banking information. The vast majority of people are optimists and think about all of the potential benefits a new technology provides.
There exists, however, a small segment of the population that is very selfish and will look to gratify themselves, even if it means harming or deceiving others. They view technology as another way to achieve their goals. Remember to never underestimate the technical ability of criminals. No matter how complex a new technology might be, someone, somewhere ...
