It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

13.1 General instructions
There are typical procedures to be followed whenever problems occur with Application
Monitor. As with any sophisticated software product, most of these steps employ methods,
practices, and routines commonly used by systems programmers. These steps are:
1. Take note of the failure’s characteristics, including the exact time when the problem
occurred.
2. Try to render an accurate, concise description of the surface symptoms.
3. Look for errors in the failing system’s job log and in the application server’s std.out and
error.out logs.
