In our case, we did not have Java 2 security enabled and did not have to modify the
server.policy file.
8.5.8 Next steps
You have now completed the required customization for the basic Data Collector
implementation. You will still probably want to perform the optional customization for data,
such as JDBC, PMI, and SMF, but now is a good time to start your Data Collector to verify
that it works.
