I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

5. Verify that DB2 is running. Issue the following command:
ps -ef | grep db2
6. If there are no DB2 processes, start DB2 with the following command:
db2start
7. Verify that there is not a database “octigate”. Issue the following command (make sure that
there is no octigate):
db2 list db directory
8. Create the database catalog by issuing the following command:
db2 create db octigate
9. Log on with the user ID cyanea with the following command:
su - cyanea
10.Populate the octigate database by running the following commands:
db2 connect to octigate
db2 -tf /opt/cyaneaone/etc/cyaneaone-db2.sql
su - db2inst1
db2 connect to octigate
db2 -tf /opt/cyaneaone/etc/dbsettings.sql
exit
