5.Verify that DB2 is running. Issue the following command:
ps -ef | grep db2
6.If there are no DB2 processes, start DB2 with the following command:
db2start
7.Verify that there is not a database “octigate”. Issue the following command (make sure that
there is no octigate):
db2 list db directory
8.Create the database catalog by issuing the following command:
db2 create db octigate
9.Log on with the user ID cyanea with the following command:
su - cyanea
10.Populate the octigate database by running the following commands:
db2 connect to octigate
db2 -tf /opt/cyaneaone/etc/cyaneaone-db2.sql
su - db2inst1
db2 connect to octigate
db2 -tf /opt/cyaneaone/etc/dbsettings.sql
exit
