3.If there is more than one Data Collector installed on a node, you must open a port for each
Data Collector in both ranges starting from 8200 and 8300. Then, assign unique values for
each in the respective datacollector.properties files.
3.6 Repository database sizing
The Application Monitor database repository is DB2 UDB or Oracle on Sun Solaris. Both use
the same relational data model. Sizing the database is an exercise in estimating an average
workload’s requirements per day and then multiplying that number by the number of days the
