Prepare the environment
At this point, we are still logged in with root authority on the server. We have the code in an
installable format in the directory we are in. If we plan to install remotely from another box, we
need to set up the environment to support that type of remote installation.
For a remote installation, complete the following steps. If you are installing on the server, you
can skip the first couple of steps.
1.Start the X Window emulator on your PC.
