It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Appendix H. Disabling, unconfiguring, and
uninstalling the distributed DC
If you have decided to uninstall a WebSphere Studio Application Monitor (Application Monitor)
Data Collector (DC), you will need unconfigure the DC in Application Monitor, remove the
Application Monitor DC variables from WebSphere, remove Application Monitor files and
directories, and remove Application Monitor user accounts. The instructions can vary based
on the application server and platform, so you need to follow the instructions for your platform.
