When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
2.8. Exercises
We haven't introduced any new technologies yet, so there aren't any exercises that are relevant to the book's subject matter that I can suggest at this point. However, if you're interested in using the example application to actually track results, then there are a number of enhancements that could improve the usefulness of the package.
2.1 Three-way comparisons: The NFL rules provide different tiebreaker rules for cases where three or more teams are tied at any point during the tiebreaker procedure. Our package ignores this in favor of being able to leverage the Comparator capability provided by Java, which supports only two-way comparisons. Update the package to properly handle three-way ties.
