I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 22. A Look Back, A Look Ahead
As I look back over the material that I've developed for this book over the past 16 months, in a very real sense it is like coming to the end of a journey. I started with some specific ideas about what I would like to accomplish, but many of the details of exactly what topics would be covered, what examples would be developed, and how everything might fit together were very unclear at the beginning.
Given the nature of publishing, at some point a book has to be “done.” What you have in your hands is a static view of a dynamic, rapidly changing area of technology.
