I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
14.7. Building and Running the JaxmClient Example
Rather than split out a separate Ant buildfile for the JaxmClient program, it was integrated into the buildfile created in Chapter 13; see the listing in that chapter if you are interested in the specifics. A command of ant client will build the client program.
To run the client, the JaxmStandingsServlet must first be running. Again, details are in Chapter 13; if you haven't done anything to uninstall the code then the servlet should be available whenever your application server is up and running.
Optionally, you can run the JaxmGameServer process as well. If the game server is not running, then the client will essentially report data as of the start of the season, with no games played. You can ...
