How to do it...

To automatically transition an issue based on the outside event, we need to add the appropriate workflow trigger to the transition:

1. Select and edit the workflow to configure.
2. Select the Start Progress transition.
3. Click on the Triggers button.
4. Click on the Add trigger button. If the button is disabled, it means you have not integrated Jira with Bitbucket yet.
5. Select the Commit created trigger and click Next:

6. Click Add Trigger to apply the trigger to the workflow transition.
7. Click on Publish Draft to apply the change.
