I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Proceed with the following steps to set up a project-specific issue type list:
- Log into Jira with a user that has a Jira administrator's permission.
- Navigate to Administration > Issues > Issue type schemes.
- Click on the Add issue type scheme button.
- Enter the name for the new issue type scheme.
- Add issue types to the scheme by dragging them from right to left.
- Select the default issue type.
- Click on the Save button to create the new scheme, as shown in the following screenshot:
Having created your new issue type scheme, you now need to apply it to projects in which you want to restrict issue type selections:
