How it works...
The JEMH profile contains all the configurations needed for the app to process emails. By creating an incoming mail handler and selecting Enterprise Mail Handler for Jira (JEMH) as the handler, Jira will be able to pass on the processing to the JEMH app.
The one key configuration in our recipe is the field processors. The field processor determines how email content should be processed, which directly determines the format for our emails if we want them to be processed correctly. JEMH comes with several processors, and we have chosen to use the Colon Suffix processor, which has the format of key:value.
