I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Idea 10: Jacob's ladder
Jacob's ladder is a model or framework that gives you a way of connecting up the general to the particular and vice versa.
The model or framework is like that fabulous ladder in Jacob's dream in Genesis (28:12): stretching from heaven to earth, with angels descending and ascending.
You can now see that by descending Jacob's ladder, from the general and abstract to the particular and concrete, you are answering the question ‘How?’ This is my purpose. Yes, but how are you going to achieve it? By tackling these aims or goals.
Notice that aims, as defined above, are really no more than purpose broken down into manageable parts. ...
