Adding New Dimensions and
Measure Groups
As is probably true of any project that you’ve been on, the requirements change as the project
goes through its development cycle. In this lesson you’ll learn how to develop your cube over
time to add new measure groups, measures, and dimensions. You’ll also learn about different
ways to relate the dimensions to your measure groups.
To start this lesson and make sure you have the same configuration for your
cubes that we’re working from, please download Lesson16Start.zip from this
lesson’s download on the Wrox website (
www.wrox.com). After downloading
the
.zip file, make sure you can deploy it to your development SSAS instance.
Lesson16Complete.zip shows you the complete solution.
