published to the Report Manager. Choosing the latter allows those who have permissions to
view the report. In addition, end users can open and edit reports in Report Builder from the
Report Manager or SharePoint if they have permissions to access the report. Once open, the
report can be modified and then published to the Report Manager. The users can either pub-

Report Builder 3.0 is a tool that enables end users to perform several of the tasks that were the
responsibility of the IT staff. They can now build new reports, modify existing reports, and
leverage existing components that have been published to the Report Manager or SharePoint.
