When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Editing a feature – changing the height of the cylinder from 50 mm to 100 mm
To edit an implemented feature, we can right-click (or left-click) on it on the design tree and select the Edit Feature option. In this case, we want to edit the boss extrude feature we applied. Thus, we can right-click on the first Boss- Extrude feature and select Edit Feature, as shown in the following screenshot:
Once we select Edit Feature, the extruded boss features will be shown on the left, while a preview of the extruded boss feature will be shown on the right. Note that the preview doesn't show the extruded cut feature because it is located lower in the ...
