I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What is mirroring for features?
Mirroring features works the same way as mirroring entities of a sketch. It enables us to duplicate a feature or a set of features by reflecting them on a plane.
The following screenshot highlights the effect of mirroring features. The figure on the left highlights a model with a set of features while the model on the right highlights the model after mirroring selected features:
The mirror plane could be an existing plane or an existing surface. Also, it can be a plane that we create for the purpose of mirroring.
