I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 10 – Basic SOLIDWORKS Drawing Layout and Annotations
- We can open a new SOLIDWORKS drawing file by going to New, and then selecting Drawing. After we open a new drawing file, the first thing we will have to decide is the drawing sheet format.
- SOLIDWORKS provides five different display styles that we can use for our drawing views. Those are defined in SOLIDWORKS drawing as Wireframe, Hidden Lines Visible, Hidden Lines Removed, Shaded With Edges, and Shaded. Whenever we create a drawing, we have to decide which of the display styles will fit our application best.
