So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Interpreting engineering drawings
Being able to interpret engineering drawings is an essential part of creating them. In this section, we will cover essential drawing competencies, including how to interpret different types of lines and different types of drawing views. We will start by understanding lines, then views, and then projections. Interpreting drawings is a skill that grows with time as we are exposed to more drawings. We will learn about some key standards that are followed when generating drawings. Those common standards will help us interpret drawings regardless of their source. First, we will start by interpreting the most essential drawing element: lines.
