reset
reset [options] [terminal]Clear screen (reset terminal). If terminal is specified on the command line, the value is used as the terminal type. reset is a symbolic link to the tset command. Invoking the command as reset is useful for clearing your terminal when a program dies and leaves the terminal in an abnormal state. You may have to run the command with a linefeed character (usually Ctrl-J) before and after it:
