Synopsis

                  cd [options] [dir]

Change working directory to dir. Default is user’s home directory. If dir is a relative pathname but is not in the current directory, the cdpath variable is searched. See the sample .tcshrc file earlier in this chapter.

-l

Explicitly expand ~ notation; implies -p.

-n

Wrap entries before end-of-line; implies -p.

-p

Print directory stack.

-v

Print entries one per line; implies -p.
