Connecting the contract folder using remixd
remixd is a tool for the Remix IDE only. This tool opens a WebSocket communication between remixd and the Remix IDE. Using this tool, you can provide a folder to be shared with the Remix IDE. This tool is useful when you have multiple contracts created on your local machine and you would like to use the Remix IDE to deploy or attach to a contact. As putting each contract into the Remix IDE would be a cumbersome job, to reduce that pain for the developer, the remixd tool is used.
You can install the remixd tool on your machine using the following command:
$ npm install -g remixd
