Overriding function definition

In function overloading, you define different operations per function definition. In function overriding, you can override the function definition of an existing function, which means you can replace the function definition of an inherited function. If you need to execute the old definition of the function, you can use super.functionName.

Function overriding can only be done by using contract inheritance. You cannot perform function overriding in the same contract. As shown in the following example, the transfer function is already present in BasicToken.sol. However, in the FuncOverride contract, we have added more functionality to the transfer method.
