Installing ethlint

To install the ethlint linter globally on your machine, run the following command:

$ npm install -g ethlint

Once it is installed, you can verify that the installation has successfully completed by querying the version of the ethlint command installed:

$ solium -V

The preceding command will return the current version of the solium installed. Once you see the version of solium displayed on your shell or command window, you are good to go and use the solium lint for your truffle or Solidity contract files.
