Getting test ether from faucets

Each of the testnets has their own faucets available to get the free ETH to your wallet. Here is the list of faucet links that you can use to request free ether:

Test network name Faucet link
Ropsten https://faucet.ropsten.be/
Kovan https://faucet.kovan.network/
Rinkeby https://faucet.rinkeby.io/
The test networks' faucet links

As these testnet ethers are limited and mined by someone else who is sharing their ether with these faucets, you will get a limited quantity of ether with these links. Nonetheless, even one ether would be sufficient for you to deploy multiple contracts. However, if you have installed your own local blockchain, you get as many as you want.
