There are some other role-specific contracts present in the OpenZeppelin library that are defined just like PauserRole.sol, which we discussed previously. The functions, modifiers, and events are almost similar for each role—only the usage is different, and so you can use these functions in development very easily. Let's discuss the purpose of these files in more detail:

  • MinterRole.sol: This is the contract used to manage MinterRole. An address that's assigned with MinterRole is allowed to mint new tokens. This role can be used in pre-crowdsale to mint new tokens for pre-Initial Coin Offering (ICO) investors.
