Using encryption
Encryption is the means to hide your content from access by unauthorized individuals. Only individuals with the correct set of keys or secrets should in theory be able to view the unencrypted content. Encryption is extremely important on the internet, which abounds with malicious users, teenage hackers, criminals, curious neighbors or co-workers, journalists, and state-sponsored surveillance apparatuses (not all mutually exclusive). Encryption is not only important to use, but it is important to do right.
